A lovely circle of life

Once a upon a time lived a carpenter who lived in a small hut. He was a very skillful carpenter, but lived modestly with the little he earned helping people in the village. He had a dream of building a big house for children to get shelter. He was abandoned by his mother when he was young but he never resented her. Instead, he prayed daily to the universe to take care of her wherever she was. He in the meantime continued to learn different skills to develop himself so that he could earn a decent and honest living.

One day, as he was walking in the forest to find wood for a piece of furniture he wanted to make, he heard a faint weeping sound. Continue reading

Here and there

Fields of colors,
Soft dew hovers,
Brown horse grazes,
Fire ball shines,
Work day begins.

On the road again,
He says;
Home is not too far,
She prays.

On my face,
A glow,
Light
And
Deep,
From the smile
On your face.

Smiling Sanctuary

Emerald sea,
Blue sky,
Brown walls,
Chirpy son,
Sunny day.

Green canal,
Spring meadows,
Old windmill,
Wiggling seagulls,
Hopeful day.

Mails come,
Joy flows,
Bonds deep,
Hearts calm
And whole.

Dawn of The First Morning

Darkness sets,
Clouds gather,
Moon hides,
Stars cry.

Wind blows,
Water flows,
He slows,
She glows.

Hearts leap,
Bodies shiver,
Hands gather,
Love blooms.

Stepping Out

The wind blows my soft curls,
Fresh flowers fill my nose.

The ducks and swans are busy.
Skating on water
Looking for food.

Raindrops stay perched
On green leaves
As they peek into the world.

My small feet
Take small little steps
On the wet pavement.

Be patient, says the air.
Dance a slow dance, says the moon.
There is beauty in eternity, says time.
Be kind to yourself, says nature.
For you are your best gift, says my heart.

New Beginning

The sky moves,
Half beauty half threat.
The water sleeps,
Calm and impure.

On the island,
The people
Have built a temple.

Hymn of Spring

Fresh water tinkles,
The whistling wind
Caresses the grass green,
And the clear sky shines.

The sound
Fills the ears.

Trains zoom past
Fields of bulbs,
Colorful as kids
Playing merrily.

The sound
Fills the ears.

Eyes shut tight,
Laughter outside,
Loud and warm
Under a starlit night.

The sound
Fills the ears.

“La vita e bella, Signorina.”

Hills, white on top,
Stretching out
Into far away land;
At the foothills,
Fields of gold
Gilded with olives
For miles and miles.

Gli olivi,
Oro della Toscana.

The blue sky’s buzzing,
Full white moon,
Bright twinkling stars
Chirping away in glee,
Packing rays of joy
To the streets below.

I hear hushed sounds
In the gentle night,
Whispers of spring
Floating in the air,
Smelling fresh of
Roses and sunflowers.

“La vita e bella,
Signorina.”

My face lit up,
Cheeks plum
And warm,
Smiling over
Vales and hills!

Her Own Dance

She stood still
Dazzled
Staring at me,
So peaceful,
She thought.

Her heart
Heavy with hope,
Different contours,
High and low,
Only she knows.

She flinched
In doubt,
As I took her
Into my bosom
Tenderly.

She breathed in
Fresh, thin air
Of clean scent
And began dancing
Her own dance.

I let her be,
She felt free,
She trusted me
As she danced
To me on me.

Thousand miles away,
Birds are walking
On frozen canals
As she takes small steps,
Painful yet sweet.

She breathes deep,
I’m in her heart,
I can tell from her eyes,
Round and hopeful;
She’ll come back to me.

And when she does,
I’ll let her dance
Her own dance.

White Dawn Greetings

“Wake up,
Wake up,”
Whispers
In my ears.

“Shhh..shhh..
It’s still dark,
Let me sleep,”
I said.

Dawn greeted me,
“It’s white outside!”

I jumped up
At once,
Cleared
My eyes
And ran down.

Soft snow flakes
Fell from above
Wet my cheeks,
White lily buds
Blossomed
Fragrantly
In my heart.

Falling snow,
White beat,
White rhythm,
My feet
Tapped to the
White music
Of pure joy.
